[Book review n°2]: PRIDE AND PREJUDICE by Jane Austen.

Pride and Prejudice by the outstanding Jane Austen

Out of all the classics books , I probably reread P&P the most . There is just something about this particular book that i love so much.
Guys ,  i hate reading reviews that tell the whole story , what's the point afeter all ? im only letting you know on my fav parts , emotions i felt while reading , characters i loved etc .. if you want to read  the summary of the story , go check on goodreads :)
Today im reviewing it , keep scrolling down if you're interested :

"It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife."
This phrase give me chills , Literally.
At the first pages, I have to admit I was frustrated, for Jane Austen had called her characters Miss Bennet, and I must duly mention that there are five Miss Bennets. And the use of various nicknames, confused me more. I thought Elizabeth and Eliza and Lizzy are different persons. So, yeah. I was very slow in the first pages, however, nearing the end, I was like a driver going at 100mph, eager to reach the finish line.

The book is simply classic , it's about a family composed of 5 young amazing girls , and all what their mum  cared about is getting them married .
I hated Mrs bennet  more than anyone in this novel. She has no talent in being a mother whatsoever and have no notions of leading her daughters in the right path. The only thing that matters to her is the marrying of her five daughters. and that really annoyed me .
It all started when A rich family came to their village , Mr bingley and his friend Mr darcy ..
Jane Bennet , the oldest sister and Mr bingley fell in love at  first sight , they were both shy and they match quite  perfectly ! In the other hand ,  the relationship between Elisabeth bennet , the second eldest  sister and the main character of the novel ,and Mr darcy  , a wealthy , proud man who upon their first meeting snubs her at a public dance in their home village , was quite fuzzy at the beginning  .
Mr darcy  seemed selfish and arrogant , and lizzy hated that.
Later , they started to get along , when he first touched her hand , when they first made eye contact .. she felt it , she loved him from the first time since she layed eyes on him and so does he , but they were too stubborn to admit !
I  loved them , i loved reading what was going on with them , and Jane described that perfectly with her outstanding choice of words and descriptions  . Their love was pure , honest and most importantly spontaneous , they didn't plan to fall in love , it just happend .
Mr darcy loved Lizzy from all his heart , she did too but they couldn't admit , lizzy was afraid to admit her love to the person that she thought she hated , and Darcy was  confused because she was nothing but a normal girl, not even beautiful like her oldest siter .
What really broke my heart  in this novel is when Darcy , who has fallen in love with her , proposed marriage ..Elisabeth vehemently refused him ! WHen he asked why she sharply detailed her reasons for disliking him and she blamed him for a  other things ..
But then , Lizzy found out that it was just one big misundrstanding , Darcy proposed again and she happily said yes , and that's when ladies and gentelments , i cried , i cried my eyes out because  i loved them so much  and i really  hoped for their relationship to turn on well , and i know they were only characters and it's only a novel but what can i say , im a nerd.
If you can't read the book or you can't have access to it , i recommand watching the movie , it's absolutely amazing , i have watched it over  15 times.

It's rare to find this kind of love nowadays , but once you do , hold on to that person and never let him/her go.

Pure love does not demand.  Pure love is natural, gracious and freeing.

i really hope you have enjoyed reading this quick review , let me know in the comments below what you think about P&P .
Until the next article , keep on reading bookaholics :)
